BATS is an all-day event where local middle-school-aged boys attend various STEM workshops on Tulane’s campus. Our SWE chapter hosted a welcome table in the morning where we introduced the students to the basics of electric circuits. Additionally, SWE volunteers mentored the students through an engineering design bridge building activity and hosted a friendly bridge-busting competition at the end of the day.
