Mines SWE members teamed up with the Society for Women in Mathematics to hear an amazing guest speaker talk about her path in math. We learned about her amazing bicycle journey across continents while simultaneously writing her PhD thesis on the go. We also discussed options for STEM majors to venture into academia and industry. This meeting was open for students, faculty, staff, and any interested person.
