Volunteers attended a local farmer’s market with the Food Recovery network. Once the market closed, volunteers went around to the farmers with crates asking if they had any food or produce to donate. Hundreds of pounds of bread, vegetables ,fruits, meat, and grains were donated to Second Servings of Houston.
