Mines SWE members volunteered for the Golden Gallop, which included a 5K race, 10K race, and Kids’ Fun Run for the general public around Golden, Colorado. SWE volunteers facilitated set-up the morning of the race. SWE volunteers also led the “Buckaroos” (kids who were two to four years old) through a lap around the track and cheered the older kids on as they raced in the Fun Run.
