Mines SWE members helped with the Women in Science, Engineering, and Math program’s annual event. Everyone is invited to campus for this fabulous event, including professors, staff, any interested students, and the general public. We learned about how a first-generation student graduated with an engineering degree to become an esteemed lawyer and judge. We had an open discussion about dealing with imposter’s syndrome, resources for first-generation students, and racial and ethnic diversity.
