SWE members teamed up with the PTA of Mitchell Elementary to bring elementary students an annual Math and Science Night. SWE volunteers helped with event set-up and clean-up. SWE volunteers also ran a booth to explain the “art of science,” using a spinning art machine to explain the physics behind centrifugal force and how blood separates in a centrifuge.
