This is our largest volunteering opportunity for the semester. SWE runs the 2 day career fair with over 200 companies each day and 4,000 students in attendance. It requires approximately 100 volunteers each day to pull off such a large community event. Our volunteers work a bag check, help companies find the lounge, and assist students at the fair. It is so rewarding to know our section helps countless students get internships and full time positions from the career fair. We also set up the night before which was submitted as a separate event.
