GT SWE members attended the SWE national conference WE24 in Chicago! During the event, members volunteered at Invent It Build It (IIBI). 250 children attended and based on their age, were able to learn either how to build a hydraulic crane or a motorcycle! During this time, parents and educators were in a separate room, learning how to get their daughters and/or female students interested in STEM fields and how to encourage them to pursue studies in these fields.
